Rebranding disaster!

If you've been by the juice section at Dierbergs, Schnucks, Shop and Save, etc. you may have spotted the new Tropicana package...or not.

If it didn't catch your eye, you're not alone. Many consumers aren't latching on either.

The rebrand has netted Tropicana a 20% drop in sales. Ouch!

Newspapers redesign to survive

Newspapers have been declining for years. Subscriptions are down. Readers are getting their news more and more from online sources: blogs, forums, Twitter...

Some papers have gone to strictly online versions, while others have responded by redesigning the size and format. Fewer pages, shorter articles, less ad space...All in response to an audience that's now used to trolling for information and getting results in a matter of Googled seconds.
